My passion for writing began at age 10. Winning my first essay contest in 4th grade, for me, was confirmation that writing just might be my true talent.

 

Growing up in a small, quaint town in South Mississippi, I lived a sheltered life; and writing allowed me to create a whole new world of possibilities. My imagination came to life through writing. 

 

I consider myself “The Jacque of many trades,”  however, writing is my first passion.

 

My past failures and achievements have helped me to become the woman I am today. I continue to focus on my present goals, and how I can develop into a better person (i.e. future wife and mother, friend, daughter, entrepreneur), while leaving behind a positive footprint in society.
